Welcome to the Introduction to Smart Plant Instrumentation course!
As an instrumentation, automation, and process engineer, you must have a strong understanding of the tools and techniques used to design, troubleshoot, and manage instrumentation data throughout the lifecycle of a process. In this course, we will explore Intergraph Smart Plant Instrumentation, the industry-leading software suite that enables higher productivity and reduced risks on project execution for the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) industry and provides plant owners with a single point of access to all instrumentation data, reducing the cost of operations and increasing process uptime.
Over the course of this program, we will cover topics such as system administrator tools and activities, unit and database preparation for SPI, instrument engineer activities, working with process data and performing calculations, writing operations in SPI, generating loop drawings, and producing hook-up drawings. We will also provide you with a range of downloadable resources to help you further your learning and deepen your understanding of the software.
Whether you are new to the field of instrumentation or an experienced engineer looking to expand your skills, this course will provide you with the knowledge and tools you need to succeed. We are excited to embark on this journey with you, and we look forward to helping you become proficient with Intergraph Smart Plant Instrumentation.
